You may have noticed some recent changes to the look of the site. We are bringing you more news, more content, and more access to the cannabis industry!
The Emerald Tribune has been around for almost a year now, and during that time we’ve enjoyed the support of a very generous benefactor. We didn’t have to do any fundraising, and that gave us room to find our voice, gain some traction, and cultivate a very unique audience here in the Emerald Triangle cannabis community.
We have spent the past year trying to attract the attention of Humboldt’s most influential people. Now we are ready to expand our scope and grow our audience. We’re making a lot of exciting new changes to the site.
You may have already noticed that our homepage looks different. We’ve added a live news stream to keep you up-to-date on the latest cannabis industry news. We also added two new affiliate links: MEND Podcast and the Humboldt Cannabis Chamber of Commerce. Now there is a Comics page where you can browse all of our canna-comics from the past year!
Our new Mission Statement and About sections help explain who we are, and what we want to bring to you. We’re going to bring you more frequent news updates, with a live newsfeed of cannabis headlines from around the world. We’re doubling our efforts to make the Emerald Tribune a responsive and dynamic source of cannabis industry news.
So far, we haven’t spent much time aggressively marketing ourselves to gain exposure. That’s about to change, as we start reaching out to our trusted partners. Advertising will allow us to expand the site, go further, and do more reporting for you. We have a lot of big ideas in mind!
The most exciting change is that we are adding is the ability to comment. We want to engage the community in conversations about the stories we bring you. Not only will the site become more interactive and inclusive, but it will open up a new channel to get direct feedback from our esteemed readers.
